Claire is a freshman from Atlanta, GA, double majoring in Medicine, Health, and Society and Molecular and Cellular Biology on the pre-med track. She has conducted research on public understanding of science through the Pioneer Academics Program and presented a biomechanics study on fall risk in people experiencing homelessness at the American Society of Biomechanics annual conference. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, cooking, and having fun with friends.

Kendall is a Junior from Santa Barbara, CA, majoring in Psychology and Biological Sciences on the Pre-Medicine track. She is currently finalizing her independent research project, which analyzes the costs and benefits of annual POTs screening for young women, as a part of the Decision Processes Lab at Georgia Tech. In her free time, she enjoys serving as an advocate for inclusivity in academics as the Transfer Representative for VADC, baking, and spending time with her cat, Oliver, and yorkie puppy, Louie.

Raghav is a freshman from Columbia, South Carolina, majoring in Neuroscience/MCB and on the pre-med track. He is currently at VUMC and a neurodegenerative research lab at the University of South Carolina in projects related to dietary-based interventions in treatment of neurodegenerative disorders and associations between cognition and biomarkers for stroke. In his free time, he enjoys cheering on his favorite football team, the Buffalo Bills, and hanging out with his friends.

She conducts research in the Grueter Lab at VUMC, where she studies how the antiretroviral drug dolutegravir influences neural mechanisms underlying addiction and motivation. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new cafés around Nashville and sharing Yerba Mates with friends!

Ashna is a freshman from Orlando, FL, planning to major in Medicine, Health, and Society and psychology or neuroscience on the pre-med track. She hopes to one day work as a dermatologist, and is interested in research focused on cell biology, infectious disease, nanomedicine, neuroscience, and/or gut health. In her free time, she loves playing the piano and violin, crocheting, baking, and spending time with family and friends.

Edward is a freshman from Seoul, South Korea, double majoring in Computer Science and Communication of Science and Technology. Beyond the Vanderbilt Vanguard, he is a member of Kappa Theta Pi, Vanderbilt’s professional technology fraternity, and 180 Degrees Consulting, where he helps implement technology-driven solutions for nonprofits in the Nashville area. In his free time, he enjoys exercising, cooking Korean food, and reselling vintage watches online.
